Terms & Conditions
By confirming a booking with My Verona, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions of Hire.
1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT
All bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is confirmed only once My Verona has provided written confirmation and full payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All advertised prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
The person or entity making the booking (“Client”) is responsible for all fees and charges arising from the booking.
My Verona may place a temporary hold on a requested date while booking details are being finalised.
A hold does not constitute a confirmed booking and may be released if payment or confirmation is not received within the timeframe advised.
2. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
All cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made in writing.
Cancellations
- 7 days or more before the booking: full refund
- Between 3 and 7 days before the booking: 50% refund
- Less than 72 hours before the booking: non-refundable
Approved refunds will be returned using the original payment method where reasonably practicable.
Rescheduling
Requests to reschedule must be received at least 72 hours before the booking and are subject to availability and approval by My Verona.
A rescheduled booking must take place within the timeframe specified by My Verona when the request is approved.
Requests received less than 72 hours before the booking may be treated as a cancellation.
My Verona may cancel or reschedule a booking where circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent the studio from being safely or reasonably provided.
If My Verona cancels a booking and an alternative date cannot be agreed, amounts paid for the affected booking will be refunded. My Verona is not responsible for consequential expenses incurred by the Client, except where required by law.
3. HIRE PERIOD & ADDITIONAL TIME
The confirmed hire period includes all access, setup, shooting, styling, catering, cleaning and pack-down.
Access before the confirmed start time is not permitted unless agreed in writing.
All Clients, crew, talent, contractors, equipment and personal belongings must leave the premises by the confirmed finish time.
Additional time is subject to availability and approval by My Verona.
Approved additional time is charged at the current overtime rate in one-hour increments.
Where a booking runs beyond the confirmed finish time without approval, the applicable overtime fee may be charged.
Late arrival does not extend the booking period or entitle the Client to a refund or fee reduction.
4. SECURITY BOND
My Verona may require a refundable security bond for bookings involving increased risk of damage, loss or additional cleaning.
This may include events, larger productions, high crew numbers, specialised equipment, food, liquids or other materials.
The bond amount will be disclosed before the booking is confirmed.
Where no damage, loss, additional cleaning or other charge has arisen, the bond will be refunded following inspection of the premises.
My Verona may deduct reasonable costs arising under these Terms from the bond and will provide details of any deduction.
The bond does not limit the Client’s liability. Where costs exceed the bond, the Client remains responsible for the outstanding amount.
5. USE OF THE SPACE
My Verona may only be used for the purpose disclosed and agreed at the time of booking.
The maximum number of persons permitted in the studio at any one time is 10, unless otherwise approved in writing by My Verona.
Any material change to the proposed use, crew size, equipment, activities or event format must be disclosed to and approved by My Verona before the booking.
The Client must not carry out any unlawful, dangerous or materially disruptive activity.
The Client is responsible for the conduct of all employees, contractors, crew, talent, guests, suppliers and other attendees connected with the booking.
Bookings must be conducted respectfully and must not cause unreasonable noise, obstruction or disturbance to neighbouring premises, common areas or other occupants of the building.
My Verona may require any activity to stop where it is reasonably considered unsafe, unlawful, likely to cause damage or materially inconsistent with the agreed use of the premises.
6. STUDIO APPEARANCE
My Verona is an evolving interior.
Furniture, artwork, objects, props and styling may change or be rearranged from time to time.
While reasonable efforts are made to keep website, social media and booking imagery current, the studio may differ from previously published photographs.
Clients requiring specific furniture, props, styling elements or studio features must confirm their availability with My Verona before booking.
7. FURNITURE, OBJECTS & PROPS
My Verona contains a curated collection of furniture, artwork, objects and props.
Large furniture pieces must not be moved unless approved by My Verona. This can be pre-approved during booking confirmation.
Smaller furniture, chairs, side tables and approved props may be repositioned where appropriate.
All furniture and objects must be lifted and never dragged across floors or other surfaces.
Items moved during a booking must be returned to their original positions before departure.
Furniture, artwork, objects and props must not be removed from the premises without prior written approval.
8. DAMAGE, BREAKAGES & LOSS
The Client must take reasonable care of the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fittings, equipment, artwork, objects and props.
Any damage, breakage, staining or loss must be reported to My Verona as soon as reasonably practicable.
Where damage or loss is caused by the Client or any person connected with the booking, the Client is responsible for the reasonable cost of cleaning, repair, restoration or replacement.
Where an item cannot reasonably be repaired, the Client may be charged its reasonable replacement value.
Where damage caused by the Client prevents the premises or an affected item from being used for a subsequent confirmed booking, the Client may also be responsible for reasonable directly resulting losses, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing may be attached to walls, floors, ceilings, windows, furniture or other surfaces using nails, screws, tape, adhesives or other fixings without prior approval.
9. CLEANING
The premises must be left in substantially the same condition in which they were provided.
All personal belongings, equipment, packaging, food, styling materials and other items brought into the premises must be removed at the end of the booking.
Rubbish must be placed in the designated bins.
Reasonable additional cleaning costs may be charged where cleaning beyond ordinary use is required, including significant spills, stains, excessive rubbish or materials left at the premises.
10. EQUIPMENT
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, My Verona does not provide professional photography, video, audio or lighting equipment.
Clients are responsible for supplying, safely installing, operating and removing their own production equipment.
Any equipment or amenities supplied by My Verona must be used appropriately and returned after use.
11. ACCESS, DELIVERIES & PERSONAL PROPERTY
Access is provided only during the confirmed hire period unless otherwise agreed.
The Client is responsible for coordinating the arrival and departure of its crew, talent, suppliers and equipment.
Deliveries, courier collections, equipment drop-offs and collections must take place within the confirmed hire period unless otherwise agreed in writing.
My Verona is not responsible for receiving, storing or safeguarding goods delivered outside the confirmed booking period.
Clients are responsible for their own equipment, products and personal belongings while at the premises.
To the extent permitted by law, My Verona is not responsible for property that is lost, stolen, damaged or left behind unless caused by My Verona’s negligence or conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Property left at My Verona must be collected promptly by arrangement. My Verona does not guarantee ongoing storage or safekeeping.
12. CHILDREN & ANIMALS
Children and animals may attend only with prior approval from My Verona.
Where approved, they must be appropriately supervised at all times.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside My Verona.
Candles, open flames, smoke or haze machines, confetti, glitter, paint, chemicals or other materials that may stain, mark, damage or materially affect the premises must not be used without prior written approval.
Any approved use must comply with applicable safety requirements and directions from My Verona.
14. INSURANCE
Clients undertaking commercial photography, filming, productions, events or other commercial activities at My Verona must maintain appropriate insurance for their activities.
My Verona may require evidence of current public liability insurance before confirming a booking or providing access.
Clients are responsible for insuring their own equipment, products and personal property.
Additional insurance requirements may apply to higher-risk productions or events.
15. LIABILITY
The Client is responsible for supervising its crew, contractors, talent, guests and other attendees and for conducting its activities safely.
To the extent permitted by law, My Verona is not liable for loss, damage, injury, delay or expense caused by the acts or omissions of the Client or persons attending in connection with the booking.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
16. INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by law, the Client indemnifies My Verona against third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable costs to the extent they arise from:
- negligent or unlawful acts or omissions of the Client or persons for whom the Client is responsible
- physical damage to the premises or property caused by the Client or its attendees
- injury caused by the Client’s activities, equipment or personnel
- a material breach of these Terms
This indemnity does not apply to the extent that any claim, loss, liability or damage was caused or contributed to by the negligence, breach of contract, unlawful conduct or wilful misconduct of My Verona.
17. PHOTOGRAPHY, CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Client is responsible for obtaining all permissions, releases, licences and consents required for photography, filming, talent, products, artwork, music and other content or materials used during the booking.
My Verona does not acquire ownership of photography, video or other content created at the premises merely because it was created at My Verona.
My Verona will not use a Client’s campaign imagery or proprietary content for promotional purposes without permission or another lawful basis.
Where My Verona separately provides styling, creative direction, content creation or other creative services, the scope, fees, deliverables, intellectual property rights, usage rights and credits must be agreed separately in writing.
18. CONFIDENTIALITY
My Verona will take reasonable steps to keep non-public information relating to a Client’s production, campaign or booking confidential where that information is identified as confidential or is clearly commercially sensitive.
This does not apply to information that is already public, lawfully obtained from another source or required to be disclosed by law.

My Verona may terminate or suspend a booking where the Client or its attendees:
- engage in unlawful or materially unsafe conduct
- cause or create an imminent risk of material damage
- materially breach these Terms
- refuse to comply with a reasonable direction concerning safety or protection of the premises
Where a booking is terminated because of the Client’s material breach, amounts already paid may be non-refundable to the extent reasonably necessary to compensate My Verona for the booking and resulting loss, and to the extent permitted by law.
